Peel Away My Layers

By Malcholm Dark

Take me, I belong to you
And peel away my layers.

Devour me.

Smell my steamy flesh
My tantalizing aroma.

Devour me.

Gorge yourself on me
You ravenous devil.

Devour me.

Take me, I belong to you
And peel away my layers.

My existence is limited.

Devour me until I am no more.

I am a Bloomin' Onion.

I loved the metaphor between onion and man, well orchestrated. And any piece that is dedicated to our supper is well-recieved. I had a steak that I had to commemorate, next time i`ll make sure it comes with onions.

Splendid! Great piece! Don't we all wish to be devoured?

Haha "You cannibalistic devil." If cannibalism is to eat one's own kind, does that mean you're actually an onion? Man I haven't had a bloomin' onion in years, definitely reminds of those good times though. Write on. Scholar
