She' s A Lady
By Malcholm Dark
She
carries a straight razor close at hand
She is tough as nails, she
can make a stand.
She hides her emotions inside her sleeve
She
is one of a kind, this I believe.
She weathers the cold, you
can see her breath
She keeps her strength up with a gram of meth.
She's attracted to strength and wears a frown
She dislikes the fool,
she will cut the clown.
--She's a lady, you had better speak
right
you will get cut up, she knows how to fight.
--She's
a lady, and buddy there's no guessin'
I have the scars to prove
it, a well learned lesson.
She works the city streets, mainly
downtown
I worship from afar...
for I am the clown.

Good poem! I know somebody that fits her to the T. The ending floored me. I really like this. Wish you all the best.

At one point after reading this, I imagined a clown and a hooker on Maury trying to find the baby daddy haha. "She hides her emotions inside her sleeve" perhaps the same place she's keeping the razor? Worthy prose yet again, write on.
