~Overwhelmed~

i sit her half awake

and half disgusted

by the mistakes

the ease of lure

to the seduction

and idleness

of excess

.

i regret the shame

the overwhelming pain

and anguish

over a disdained existence

and the lonely solitude

I put myself through

.

it used to be

for inspiration

now an addiction

to be withdrawn

alone

afflicted and bewildered

needing escape

from this astonishing dream

.

feeling

like a plane

spinning out of control

spiraling downward

way out of control

looking inward 

spinning and turning

finding only pain

and withdrawal

.

death would be a soother

.

but I cant find

the motivation

.


I am just lost
.

and hopeless
