Who Is A Racist

By Malcholm Dark

These negative words we draw like a gun
To put down others while having our fun.
Should you think of another when using a name
It is only yourself that is put down in shame.
There is a link between people, you can't break that tie
Because a truth was discovered, apart from the lie.
And if your views stand right above all others
You stand alone without sisters and brothers.

What is a NIGGER? It's something I'm unable to figure.
Is it some sort of fish lure, a spinner or a jigger?

What is a FAG? Is it a stick or a snag?
Or is it a new improved sleeping bag?

What is a WET-BACK? Is it a fish in a net trap?
Or maybe a new type of underwater jet-pack?

What is a KIKE? It sounds like a psyche.
Could it be a new motorized racing bike?

What is a DUNE COON? Is it a boob or buffoon?
Or perhaps a new Saturday morning cartoon?

What is a HONKY? It sounds really raunchy.
Like a horn inserted in the rear of a donkey.

What is a SKIP? Is it a dance or a flip?
Or a hop over a rope, please don't trip.

What is a CHINK? I'm not sure let me think.
Could it be a piece of metal fencing link?

What is a YARD-APE? Oh for heaven's sake!
Is it a lawn ornament used to decorate?

What is a WAP? should I phone for a cop?
Is this done to a thief to make him stop?

What is a MICK? Is this some sort of trick?
Whom ever made up these names are truly sick.

Who is a racist? Is it you, is it I?
Look into a mirror, the eyes never lie.
Who is a racist? Is it you, is it I?
To live as a racist, a racist you'll die.

Racism is, I believe, an expression of insecurity and anger. Nice piece. I was fortunate to be raised by hippies of many colors - XXOO Scholar

I've probably heard every word in this piece growing up around a racist family. I never dared to speak up against them, just listen to them wallow in their spite. They were those kinds of people that felt the world owed them for existing. They did prove that racism is alive and broiling, like a dormant volcano. Write on. Scholar

YEAH!, GOOD WRITE. I laughed my head off just like I did when I heard we all came from Africa, that must have been a set back for all the white surpremist, I bet they don't believe it, why people are so insecure in themselves that they join together in groups and find strenght in putting someone else down I can't work out, I love challenging racists, small minded arseholes. keep up the good work.
