Dying World

By Uzumaki

I've never seen you before
But here I walk today
Within this dying world...

So much pain
So much suffering
Within this dying world...

Where do I go?
How do I live?
Within this dying world...

I know you're out there
How can I find you?
Within this dying world...

 Maybe you're already dead
Or just trying to live
Within this dying world...

Now I see you
From far away
Within this dying world...

Lying on the ground
Just around the corner
Within this dying world...

It has to be you
The one I've longed for
Within this dying world...

But how can it be?
You're already dead
Within this dying world...

So where do I go?
How do I live?
Within this dying world...

Only one thing to do
And one place to go
Within this dying world...

Is to die
Or to be dead
Within this dying world...

I agree, the repetition is superb. To live in a dying world, you must become death itself. Write on, thanks for sharing. Scholar

i like the repetition here....i like how, with poems like these, the verse that repeats sounds a lot more whisperish in your mind as you read it...almost like two people reading the different lines...good job....
