Exhale; Begin

By Crush_With_Eyeliner

I could build
no proud towers
in this grey light.
If there are
stars they
are hidden.
The book
of Corinthians
is a lie.

The moon is
low and
waiting;
a long breath
exhaled.

Begin
anew,
unwashed
and
unsheathed.
