Suicidal Reckoning

By silentninja

It is now Time
The hourglass wages in
Those fragile crumbles of sand no longer fall
And above it all
I should become no more
I have rejected heaven
I have rejected hell
I have even rejected reincarnation
Because of the smell
My emotions have crumbled and shrivled up into nothing
And Nothing is now what I yearn forevermore
I'll pay the riverboat man nine pence as I leave the shore
My life is a faust
My memory a sin
Eternity knows the river I'm sailing
I'll stay away from the edge
In case I fall and drown
The past no longer shall be pulling me down
I'll leave love, life and alike behind
To be honest I'm just sick of their kind
The way they laugh
The tears they cry
All wrapped up with deceit
And lies
I found that stream
Many have dreamed of before
And now it is time to knock on Deaths door
I surrender my remaining years
I give up the night
For now and forever
I end my life

This is what I like, emotion bare, no bullshit, it's a pleasure to be taken on a ride down that stream where many have knocked before.
