In the mist of the Apocalypse

By silentninja

I have a front row seat
To watch the world become what we despise
I'll embrace the misery
As everything sinks into demise

The four horseman dare not utter one word
After the show has begun
And yet, I'll pointlesly watch those trailers
Whilst loading my gun

Pestilance will enitice me with the disease and dirt
Death shall release me from this world of hurt
Famine shall clear the crops away
War shall battle every army on this day

The heavens will crumble
Whilst hell shall rise
Both angels and demons
Will fear the look of my eyes

When Lucifer rises
And your God shall fall
I will take acknowledgement
Of who started it all

There will be just one man
Neither dead nor alive
Who will open that gate
To watch the others arrive

In the end there will be no more War
No Death, No Pestalence, No famine anymore
This one man will stand up on high
And hear are the words that he cries

"I bought you before me to end my time
Bound to the earth eternal is my sentence, what be my crime?
I live a heaven and hell bound into one
This is what you foretold now look what you've done"

Heaven you call yourself, hell by your name
You delivered war and peace to be exactly the same
God you're evil, Satan you're a god
I spit on you both, for I'm done with you lot

I want to be on your side, well done, I like the feel of the anger and the way it seems like you had to rush to get it out. I think the eight verse is brilliant.
