Window

By SoPrecious

You're so clear and yet I still can't see
beyond your glass,
where everything is free

The hours pass...
and your light fades
deep into the night I stare
stars twinkle in their
midnight parades

You're sealed so tight, I can't feel the cool air
of the dusky night I can't touch
but know is there

My fingertips pressed against you
you hold me back from the night
my eyes staring through you
to the moons soft light

Dew begins to settle..on the outside
soon I will see your warm mornings light
....look away? I can't - as much as I've tried
the moon..it slowly fades out of my sight

You allow me to see the world
from this very spot
and how peaceful it can seem
even though its not

"window, together we are one"
I whisper..as I'm greeted by
the morning sun.

Very well written miss Nisha, and welcome to DP! You are a very descriptive writer, even if I were blind, your words would allow me to see exactly what you described. It was easy to read and flowed nicely from the start, I much enjoyed reading it and will read more of your work. You get a 10................... ~ACE~
