Disappearance

In a split second
You were
Gone.
A bright, fragile flower
An angel with a broken wing.
These were supposed to be your happiest days.
Puppies and kittens
Rainbows and candy.
But now, all that remains
Are scribbles of paper
And unanswered questions.
Everyone wants to know:
Where did you go?
Well-almost everyone.
