Sonnet: The Fairy Boy

By CjPsychotic

The ears that creep into defiant peaks;

Motion carved, courageous, into Deku wood;

Sturdiest leg of trinity with stoic cheeks;

Enduring emblem: the hyest rule of good.

Boy forged by faith and flight of fairy wings

Who’s melodic militia nurses nature: sing.

Waking, drowsy, in a vernal prison,

Who’s leaves lament the reign of a new king.

The knight cloaked in verdant valor has risen

To plunge the sapphire deep within the spring.

The somber lake bed and mortal mountain schism

To, like the fainting forest, endow their offering.

Hero elf, who’s ally vines are rooted in the heart,

Let Courage point your way and passion be your art.

    This made me want to get my own sword and set off on an adventure. It reminded me just how much of a Zelda fanatic I really am. A vivid depiction of Hyrule, I felt like I was there. Brilliant piece, thanks for sharing. Scholar
