For Thongsouk

By Malcholm Dark

She fires my soul like the summer's sun
My Asian beauty, this woman child.
Black hair shines like a silk finespun
And flows undaunted like the wild.
A warming song of angel cries
I find, I am unable to sing its' theme.
When at night I close my eyes
Her essence is captured within a dream.

--I shall give to you...
my life to share with all my sentiments
my world and me with all my compliments
my heart as wide as the blue sky above
my soul as pure as the snow white dove.
--But most of all, my dearest Sue
an inner strength of yearning too.
--So precious this I know so true
all my love I shall give to you.

She is able to make the blind have sight
And guides me to a better world.
She is able to make the wrong turn right
Embrace me tight my Asian girl.
She is able to make darkness become light
When her smile shines on into my day.
She is able to make music sizzle at night
When we are alone in the mood to play.

I have always been shy, this is true
Have patience for me as I do for you.
My words will come and with them too
All my love I shall give to you.
Though now my words are hard to say
I will shout them out aloud one day.
A lifetime seems a time too few
All my love I shall give to you.

"My dear Thongsouk, I love you."

An excellent piece, sounds like an unrivaled beauty indeed. Making the blind see, darkness becoming light, simply stunning. Write on my friend. Scholar
