Origins Of The Axeman
By Malcholm Dark
I
was a lumberjack and good at my trade
It was always about the life
I had made.
I loved what I did while living my dream
Working
with nature, the outdoors so clean.
Then one day my life style
came tumbling down
A tree branch fell and drove me into the ground.
Although most of my physical damage was repairable
The brain damage
and thinking process became unbearable.
It was close, I should
have been killed
Instead, a darkness was instilled.
And that
is when I lost the laughter
No more happily ever after.
A hunger for murder grew into obsession
I unchained the beast which
feeds off my regression.
The good in me is gone, I lost my humanity
But found an emptiness within the insanity.
I search for new
killing fields, an infamous man
The slaughtering of you creates
art that is grand.
I am the Pablo Picasso within my field
Instead
of a paint brush it's an axe that I wield.
I am shadow that
preys upon light
I am horror that causes you fright.
I
am bogeyman, I am nightmare
I am diabolic... so take care!

A brilliant prequel indeed, after reading "The Art Show" it left me wondering the origins of such an eccentric killer. This was a great tale of madness, and the insight into the killer's mind expanded an already gruesome setting, write on.
