The Dollhouse

By Mylissa

And when I fade.....

I will lace the air
with the smell and taste
of burnt plastic of a pretty doll.

~and my lingering emptiness
will stain the hearts of those who left me broken. ~

"And when i fade..." Haunting way to start off. I like the way it makes the reader (me anyway) feel like their walking in on the caboose end of a train of thought, sort of catching it right at climax realization. Who broke you? I'll moiderize em. :) "A real heart-smasher" Yep. Lovely work, MyMy.
