it wasnt love

By Rebel tiGer King

Slip drip and tip
I get your love half off
When i use my words
You love the poetry
i Love the touch
That same touch that
carries your name with elegance
The one that moves you across the stage
Gracefully sinfully breaking my heart
You've always been good at that
But i shake it off and sweet talk the night away
Bringing you home with me
Laying you down on sheets of dreams
telling tales of the romance
The one i weave your rib cage with
to protect that precious stone
the one that beats but never speaks my name
And when we're done sweaty and breathing heavy
Our bodies on fire and the ecstacy wearing
off in orgasmic shades of grey
You look at me and smile
As if to say you love me
And i look back and kiss you
as if to say....
If only.

Great piece! The ending definitely leaves a sense of the unfulfilled, nicely done! Ciao, T/S Scholar

Beautifully done...I feel almost a sad feeling when reading it, however the words are so elegantly sewn. Lovely for sure!
