.38 special

By Rebel tiGer King

The steel tears at me like before
Broken nights and shattered thoughts
of a paradise lost,
misery regained.

The backs flash at me
like broken pupils of hysteria
and i've fallen in the oblivion of
the days length without laughter

Is it to late to save me?

The chamber laughs,

The trigger smiles

The symphony begins where i end.

I had to Google what a .38 Special was because I didn't know. Now I do. And I have to agree with Malcom that the very last line certainly makes an impact. Nice.
