The Frog

By SilentStalker

He jumped onto a lily-pad
The greatest fun he ever had
His dreams since he was just a tad

He stayed out late; he had no name
And all the beasts outside were tamed
But nothing ever stayed the same

He missed a pad; but he could swim--
Till gators tried to gobble him
He escaped, but he lost a limb

Now this young frog could really heal
So he waited till he could feel
A full grown leg, so new and real

He soon was healed up all the way
And went back to the lake to play
For this frog knew he's here to stay.

I discovered at the same age, that I could write poetry too, but the pot smokers got all the attention, so I just played with my slide rule! Cheers Sarge!

Was great Darun. And thank you kinkyfrog for favoring it, so I found it.
