This Must Be Love

By Malcholm Dark

I feel this burden inherent to all men
Established by women, now let it begin.
A treasure map, my heart marks the spot
Enticed by your lure, hooked and caught.
--There's no escape, this must be love.

A lonely mariner on a discovery trip
I have sailed into an uncharted sea.
A collision detected, I abandon ship
This provocative siren possesses me.
--I am shipwrecked, this must be love.

The loveless in love, fateful signs thereof
My dark crimson rose, wickedness I chose
My buried treasure of pain and pleasure
Mysteries take hold, fantasies unfold.
--A dream come true, this must be love.

I liked the different styles myself, love, the treasure begging for discovery, the siren calling men to their doom, and the thing of dreams, very true indeed, another awesome piece my friend. Scholar
