~. Extrication . Unfolding .~
By NikesRain
there are pulses of light
caught within the threads of midnight
at your decent i pulled those strong enough
to weave into webs without promises
yet would cast wide with unspoken possibles
so when they caught you
you'd heard the whispers of
what could be
in the subtle heart of a breeze
there are a thousand wishes
humming quietly the heavy ache of loss
murmuring with exquisite joys that came before
they blend into a song of memories to cherish
and within a march's full moon night
i'd hold you quietly within a sleeping glade
just so you could listen to that music
the earth breathes in delicate heartbeats
sighing through summers with abandon
quieting when autumn touches her face
with cool caressing and chilled fingers
becoming blanketed in a riot of lace faith
a covering of sunrises and twilights breathless
there is where i'd keep you gently
among the pages of days swirling into returning
fury rages as does tenderness from the sky
the conquering clouds bursting forth in abandon
a mass of intensity lashing through the aether
when it weeps it brings the prospect of sanguinity
that quiet moment after of expanding serenity
there i'd cradle you within the purging of infuriation
into the stillness of renewing requiescence
so you might see mists of hope
all because
you are you

°sigh° I'm playing catch up with all my favorite writers. You have always had a way of spinning words into such visions. I'm so glad I came back.

Lovely piece! The end is so simple and eloquent...you would do all these things, simply because they are who they are. Love and admiration without expection...wonderful. Ciao, T/S
