Love Me Sober

By musicalsuicide

You hold me until my body is chilled
Your whispers still linger in my ear
I feel your fingures wrap around mine
This is not right
Look at me
Laying on the couch
Tripping on what ever I had taken before
Do you still love me?
You hold me tighter when I start to shake,
I know you will never let go.
So I try to push you away.
There is something wrong with me.
Can't you see it?
I can not feel something like love
Nor happiness or joy.
I do not deserve this weird sensation.
Make it stop.
Then you look into my eyes.
The chills stop and now its over.
I am free to feel your breathe on me.
And finally hear what you needed to say all along.

I love you.......

This is so sad, yet so beautiful. I know what it feels like to not feel like I deserve love because of what I've done. The guilt is horrible. The love you feel for another is intense though. Beautiful work!
