Warriors Previel

Warriors Prevail

The force which drives us on and on-
Through fire, snow, and rain-
Beyong our deaths, it's never gone-
It drives us through the Pain.

Though flames will scorch our flesh away-
We vow to carry through-
Though Frost will chill our bones today-
We always shall stay true.

Although as one we fight, we strive-
As one and yet as many-
Fighting just to stay alive-
So few of us, if any.

This Individuality-
That rages in us all-
To never know conformity-
Our blades will never fall.

Driven by Love, or Hate, or Will-
We're pushed beyond the Veil-
And closing in upon the kill-
We warriors preveil.

As Death prepares our solemn grave-
We live, defying Death-
And as they take more than we gave-
We'll laugh with our last breath.

We'll curse you and your wretched lives-
As the wolves rip us apart-
For in the End, nothing survives-
But the passions in the heart.

  • A former member wrote: I think you should match the spelling of "previel" to that in the poem. Interesting concept... to avoid conformity.... wouldn't that require denying all previously conceived ideologies and semiology? It seems that often in our desire to avoid conformity we conform to an ideal of a non conformist....

I don't really think so, because I see the act of Conformity requires that one conform in whole, so long as we go about as we please with one or two things amiss, it is individuality, even if it is descended from previously established things. Scholar
