What Comes Around

By Malcholm Dark

She now belongs to me
So I take her
Again and again
And again!

The jury renders a verdict
Guilty of rape and murder
The judge bangs down his gavel
Fifty years without parole
My mother weeps in sorrow
I am beyond redemption.

I now belong to him
So he takes me
Again and again
And again!

Mother attends my funeral
She hasn't any tears to give
Words resounding inside her
What comes around...

Intense write my friend, I really liked the perspectives of the rapist and the victim. The ending was so unique in its style, and it brings a sense of justice and closure for the victim and her family, well done. Thanks for sharing. Scholar
