I walk

Dark streets
Silent streets
Dirty--desolate
My streets!
He steps out
They step out
I
am surrounded
Eight wild dogs
They want money
My valuables
My life
Back against the wall!
Guns--knives--pipes
Welcome to my world
I smile and laugh
My eyes turn red
My fangs elongate
Long deadly claws
Screams fill the night
I take--shred--feed!
Some escape me
Run rabbit,
run
They run aimlessly
Head-long into fear
I hunt
I take
I kill
I feed!
Tonight I walk
Music in my head
That 'empty street' song
Alone I walk
Within the shadows
I am hunter
I am nightmare
I am
monster!
