A Thing of Beauty

Someone so perfect,
Perfect body and mind.
Virgin lips,
Never spoken an ill word,
I stroll pass her every day,
Never knowing her thoughts,
Thoughts of someone such as I,
Not a tease,
But jealous,
Jealous that someone so beautiful,
Roams the very earth as I,
A woman among girls,
Someone pure, kind, loving,
An awakening sight.
Aroma,
A breath of fresh air,
Her voice harmonious,
I can only wonder,
Will she ever notice me for me?
Has she noticed me?
These questions haunt my mind,
Like a bad dream with no end in sight.
If I ever doubted that there’s a God,
I’m certain there is now.
When creating her,
He had to have taken some time.
Time,
Sculpting those attractive curves,
Time,
Shaping those luscious lips,
Time,
Pondering her contagious smile,
Time,
Working swagger into each graceful step,
To stroke my fingers through her hair,
Could only be,
A thing of beauty.
