A Loss For Words?

By Musik2MyEyes

I pity the man with poet's disease.

When words are your blood;
Pen and paper are your heart and soul.
Each dies without the other.

They call it "Writer's block".
How trivial for something so devastating.

Like calling cancer a sneeze.

    I think it's something many have gone through. Sometimes the words just need a vacation. I enjoyed the cancer/sneeze reference as well. Nicely put together :)

  • A former member wrote: Whenever I get writer's block it is from thinking of too much too fast to focus on writing anything down. "Like calling cancer a sneeze", I understand.

  • A former member wrote: like carbon based life forms' inherent susceptibility to cancer..... no doubt there is pity to be summoned
