Tomb of Magnus Araneus

By Riven Waker

This is the tomb of the work which once occupied this place.  Since I have expanded the work considerably, at least doubling its size, I thought it apropos to present the final piece as a new work.  The title of the final piece is "The Seventh Gateway of the Great Reclusion Unfurls" (2011-07-17).

Jesus Ray this was an epic journey. The flow was excellent and the imagery put me in a place of lurking death. Very nicely written and well worth the read. Always hard to express just how much I enjoy your mind.

What a beautifully written masterpiece. I must say spiders are not my things, I could look at them for hours but I have this irrational fear of them...or maybe it's rational from what I've read in this poem. I always loved the Black Widow spider, one of my favorites. So small but just one bite could mean death. A very nice write. It flows so well and the wording is just maginificent.
