What A Waste--Tainted Youth

By Malcholm Dark

Elected heros, saving face
Political strings and grace
Masters of the puppet race...
what a waste, what a waste.

Run amok in blood-filled streams
Designer-drugs by any means
Suicides in razored dreams...
what a waste it seems.

Dear Sheila turns into Tom
Lucid youth abused and gone
The puppet race lives on and on...
what a waste, an empty dawn.

Cocaine and black ties
Lord of the flies
Witch-hunts and lies...
what a waste it never dies.

Now praise the prodigal son
Social failings--A time of the gun
The slaughtered dead, here they come...
what a waste, done and done.

Twisted youth abound, unbound
Missing dead confound, resound
Master's safe with them around
Let loose the wolves upon the hound...
what a waste, our burial ground.

Tainted youth within society
Master's castration anxiety
Total loss of our propriety...
what a waste,
              what a waste,
                            what a waste.

Your words are not wasted here. I like the way you structured this. It could be lyrics to a song.
