This Rain

By A Life Without You

Love came at a time when mine eyes were bound shut
by dark skies and warm nights.
When it left, it took everything I knew.
When it left, it left nothing.
To love, I've never wanted more.
To leave, I've wanted more than ever.
It takes to long to remember just who i was.
Memories of broken glass in every step my thoughts take.
These dark skies have never looked so full.
And this rain will try in vain
to fill these holes.

This was like being slowly ripped apart. How else do you fill such a void? A very interesting read, thank you for sharing.

aw yes, you have an amazing mind my friend, why is it we tend to fill the holes in our life with things that are temporary, things as you say... erode. Indeed in-vain...
