The Cronicles of David Neirad (pt.3)

By maggot death

Gabbie was laying on her bed, playing with her hair.

"I can't believe I am still thinking of the kid..." she muttered to herself.

Then, her jail cell door slammed open, and in came Mai.

"What did you do Gabbie?!?"

Gabbie winces, recognizing that the warden finally caught on.

"um...nothing. Why?"
"What did you put in Kody's food?"

"...I put in my special blend of amnesia serum, just like the plan." Gabbie replied.

Mai sighed, and Gabbie knew that the answer that Mai was looking for would eventually get out of her. So she spilled it.

"...I also...SLIGHTLY...poisoned him."

Mai's eyes grew wide with astonishment, "You what?!? Why!?"

She cried, "I'm sorry! It's an addiction, I tell you..."

Mai looked at her, turned around, and promptly told the buff jailkeepers to slam the door shut.

She immediately called the warden.

"Hello?"
"It's me, Mai."
"Yes, why did you call?"

Mai sighed, "It turns out your prediction was right. Gabbie put a much stronger serum in the boy's food, AND added poison."

She then added, "How did you know, ma'am?"

The warden replied, "Lucky guess.... Also quite lucky, I had a plan in case this had happened. Gabbie actually added a double dose, so about a year ago when we brought him here, he doesnt remember nearly any of that."

The warden suddenly notices a squirrel in the way of her car. She attempts to skid quickly to a stop

She fails.

"He must have woken up a couple days ago with more memory loss. I'll also have to adress the poison at another time. I will be at the orphanege any minute now."
