The 13th year (pt.2)

By maggot death

I woke up in the morning, remembering the fatal moment a couple of days
before. I also remembered that today was the day that we got our picture
taken. As the jailkeeper let me out of my cell, I noticed that there are
a few more children here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Come on in," the warden said to the dark-haired kid.
"....I said COME ON, are you deaf?!?" She didn't look like the type to say something like that. She had soft blonde hair, and she was around 35 years old. She was a little on the chubby side.
As I was waiting outside of the door, I decided to wach the black haired kid from the window.

The warden looked down at her files for this kid. Here's what was written:

Age: 8
Eyes:Brown
Hair:black
First nme:Nived
Last nme:not provided
Crime:murdered a family of 7
Sentence:30 yrs

"so, Nee-vad," the warden chimed.

"......It's pronounced Nivay." Nivad said.

The warden then answered, "I don't really care,"

She then continued, "So, boy, it says here that you killed a family o-"

"THATS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!" Nivad cut her off.

The warden then stood up and raised her voice, "You know what?!? Let's just take the picture."

Well done. Again nice gloomy visuals and a sadness starting to settle in. I think the word, 'accept' might not fit there. Try deserve or something on that order. keep writting.
