When Lucifer Visits a Mortal Girl

"It will all be over soon, my love
You will not feel it, not much"
He tells me as the knife blade runs
Again over my slowly healing cuts

I snivel and cry out in pain as the cold
Blade peirces my skin and grabs hold
Of the scars I hide with long sleeves
I look up and he smiles down at me

His ghostly hand guides my fingers
And the chill of his death still lingers
On the tip of my blade so reddened
By my life blood, red and deadened

We slowly pull back and down
I gasp in pain and he drowns
My voice out with a sweet "hush"
Voice of velvet resonating to crush

My voice is silent now as I pray
That I am doing right; my eyes stray
From the blade as I look into his eyes
So cold and blue yet make me wish to die

I want so badly to be with him now
More than anything and somehow
As the knife pulls slowly back, my soul
From my body parts and I lose control

My voice is lost in his velveteen caress
I no longer feel pain's poisonous stress
I look upon the blood now pouring out
Onto the tile and soak into the grout

It stains like an invasion on the white
I glance through the window, into the night
It is cold and  he is suddenly warm
I can feel his hands pulling out the knife
Like he pulls my body from my life

With this, I let my body crumple beneath me
As we stand and you quietly hold me
Silence speaks volumes between us
As my soul seems to obsess

You are more beautiful with me there
With me beside you and we are everywhere
Nothing can seperate us, not now, not ever
And I feel safe... Then I hear you snicker

...

Suddenly I feel claws at my feet, pulling at me
You leap away and laugh hysterically
A cackle, unlike your soothing voice,
Escapes you and I realise my choice

I made a mistake as the demons pull me
Through the floor and finally I see
You tricked me and I was a fool
You never loved me, I was merely a tool....
