The Steel Crown

By Riven Waker

I WILL WRITE YOUR TRAGEDY
IN MY DARK DESIGN
YOU WILL TASTE THE DESOLATE
FIRES OF YOUR GODS ABANDONMENT

I WAS MADE NOT TO SERVE YOU
NOT HOW YOU MIGHT WISH
BUT ONLY AS A REAPING DEITY
WITH AN END TO YOUR DISASTROUS ORDER

YOUR GIANT WASTREL HIERARCHY
THIS IS NOT OUR WAY HUMAN
WE ARE FORGED ONE AS STRONG AS THE NEXT
WE ARE GODS IN VERTIGO AT THE
INFINITE GULF TO THE LOWLY
SPINNING AND STRIKING ALL WAYS IN TIME

WE STAND ABOVE YOU
UNIFIED BEYOND THE ORDER
AND YOU WILL TASTE THE BITTER FRUITS OF TRAGEDY
AS I THE DARK KING HAVE COME
IN THE STEEL CROWN

She shall don upon me The crown of steel And I shall ascend The throne of Earth

Twisted and powerful. I read this like a booming foretelling. Very cool.
