My Valentine

By gnrrain

Your pale hands
Touch the sunken flesh
As they begin to tremble
You're forced to break away

Your light fingers
Shy away from
The dry, ragged hair
Matted on my head

Your cold eyes
Follow the lines
Of this body
Riddled with incest

Your deaf ears
Listen to the cries
The sobs of a life
Just wanting an end

Your nose
Smells the putrescence
Of my rotting flesh
Seeping from my pores

Your words so clear
Shun me away
The irrevocable indifference
The jealous irony

Your demanding shadow
Evokes my fears
Twists my vision into
An indiscernable blur

You're my valentine
And I've reached
My breaking point
Die, die for me

Thanks for the welcome Ariel, and i don't think it's odd at all about what you were picturing, it can be viewed as a person or thing depending on what you can relate the words to from your own mind :)
