So many poets so little time
My mind wraps about each one
The simple rhythms of yesterday
The plot twists of tomorrow
The memories of yesteryear
And the antidotes for today
There’s laughter and joy
Pain and sorrow
Deaths of suicides
All spoke with silver tongues
The words dance about and off the page
Could one ever get enough?
I most defiantly think not
The poets are too great
How could this place be more?
With the poets who are to mention.

Just a few to name
I know there lines and poems by heart
They helped me through depression
Helped me along the way to find a happy day
A thank you is not big enough,
A hug is to hard to give away
But yet I set here and wonder
what made them so great.
