Adoration part two

By freudian-slip

"We can change ten thousand times in the blink of an eye,
and still the only thing we worry about is how to screw things up."
(Love the Hard Way)

Adoration

the blessed curse of a true

undying love

meant to shake your fragile soul like a rag doll in the hands of a toddler

The seduction of your innermost fears

martini shaken
with imminent tears as you grab onto the ride of a lifetime
Your hand in mine
given infinite possibilities and trust never known before

Behind every open door

escapes the reality that your past experiences have held you prisoner

The breeze that catches your face
unexpectedly on a hot summers day

The kind of love
that shows you the way out of the darkest of rooms

when you are frightened of each unexpected noise
or danger that might soon be around the corner
of your mind

I am forever thankful for what I never thought I'd never find

I am not going to screw this one up

or am I

This was cleverly spun, I enjoyed it and then the ending was a twist. Well done.
