The Watcher

By sixsixnine

It is inevitable,
to fall in love with you.
It is an inexcusable,
ludicrous, voluptuous, lunatic,
inside

So sacred our head
full of love, courage and compassion.

There are only fragments of dead,
wasted and full of hatred.

There are only a few,
who will do what we need to.

Let us decipher the lies and the phony cries
before , before we die...

So it is a rhyme that I crave to put it all away

Surrogate
Prostate
Devious
Oblivious
Candidate

The audacity of letting these fuckers lead,
When they cannot see, you or me...

Counterfeit
Redemption
Congratulation
Resurrection

New direction
contemplation
intention
reflection

I don't want to be paralyzed
unable to recognize
what lies inside
is all but my
demise

Hey beautiful
Take your chance, and dance...
with that old romance...
Circumstance is the balance
of the most meaningful poetic utterance.

Behold I hold the infinite universe in a microscopic piece of my finger...
Bigger still are the dreams that linger...

Rain drops the size of Jupiter.
Evaporate way too late.
Flooding the milky way,
with...

Toxic Creature.
Artificial Nature.
Followed the sign
to find the divine
Sublime elegance
of this existence.

I am the reactor

I am the watcher

It is not always clear

and it is not always real

and I can hear your cry

and you can heal yourself

and I can affect you

see your fear disappear

powerful churning motion in this. restlessness and contempt-laced lust. The first stanza caught me and didn't let me go until after the last word. and i did love that first stanza. feelings that i know well. thanks for the great read!

Holyhell well done is right! I'd really like to hear this read aloud to see if it matched the natural rhythm it took on as I got deeper into it. This is a really cool write--kudos, really well done.

goodness... loved the infinite universe and jupiter lines but the whole was breath stealing... like swimming in a whirlpool yet wanting to just become part of it and let it carry you along...
