Ship in a Bottle III

"It's out of reach," the captain groans,
"We're just too small, I should have known..."






Shipwrecked, he stood alone in the sand
"I haven't found it yet, I don't understand.

Long have I searched, suffered these seas.
I die the captain, not on my knees."

The captain walked and left his crew behind.
"It will be mine, if it exists to find."





"I've felt it since wind filled my first sail;
Something worth chasing, that time would unveil."








They met up the beach, equal distance from both broken ships.
Golden hair under a captains hat, flowing past blue eyes, red lips.

A woman, with eyes too much like his own,
having wandered the world and called nothing home.











He searches
through those eyes so blue.
Gaze lured, lost in oceans two.

In them, a wanderers will grows weak;
and past those depths, he need not seek.
