Our Organic-Machinery Future

By steuss

When form and matter are willfully produced,
induced and metaformed by our designing choice,
What do we call the new species grass that gives
Unrivaled solar power? Does the blur’d cellular
structure change us? Does the quiet churning
Of rain generators wash away your consciousness?

I see the changing of words like “organic”
And “earth tones;” no longer applicable, as All
is designed, Created. Have we taken over the job?
Some claimed "Doomsday," some claimed we stepped too far,
But I only see creations, automatons, thoughtless drones
To our betterment. I’m mechanically organic,
A designed Ism from cellular machinery.
Is this the reverting cycle? The imagination
Of our previous selves? Undenying God,
and welcoming the inspiration
We’re approaching a cusp, change, of thought and concept.

Very thoughtful without being awkwardly so.

"Does the quiet churning of rain generators was away our consciousness?"- I think this thought is what makes me think the most. is it really for our betterment? or have we stepped too far? in my opinion, i think we've stepped too far.
