I‘ll be with you, when I’m gone

By Leith Plunkett

I will kiss your neck so gently with the breath of dawn

Feel my fingers run through your hair with the warmth of day

Hear the words “I love you” whispered through golden leaves

Taste my tears from heaven as they fall upon your face

I will watch over you with the jewels of night
I will blow a goodnight kiss from the crescent moon
…………
I will be the warmth on your pillow to soak up all those tears
……

Don’t forget to trace our names in our favourite tree
Baby…when I’m gone

Funny how many of these images mean something to me, like you looked inside of all of my "inside connections" the tree, the season, everything. Well written, enjoyed the read as always
