I'm scared
I'm hurt
I'm lost
I'm insecure
I'm hiding
Like I said I’d never do again.
I need you right now
To save me from this
Stupid
Unjustified
Pain.
I need you to help me,
To hold me close,
And tell me everything is going to be alright
I need you to believe in me
Like I know you do
I need you more than anything right now.
But I'm so scared
Of pushing you away
Like I have
So many others,
So many times before.
I need you to love me,
No matter what,
Through everything,
I just need to know you care,
I need to hear you say it,
But I'm so scared to ask.
I just want to pull you close
And be held in your embrace,
But I know I never can,
For fear of pushing you away.
