My Rebirth

Blood sweat pain and tears
all the fears thought
to be left behind for so many years

Dredged up from the depths
pulled back to reality
losing control of the gates
built so long ago

 A mix of blood
sweat and tears
flow freely down the broken body
of the newly born warrior

Instilled with new values
built back up with strength
to stand firm
and face my fears head on
no longer just in the depths
of my seemingly empty mind
