Divinity: Plentifully Still

By Spiritus_Frumenti

Sacred are the words we believe
Words so often unsaid
Truths existing only in our minds,
And felt only in our hearts instead

Sacred is the love we carry,
A love so powerful it could swallow the sun
And also end our lives sadly

Sacred are the moments we cry,
Moments tears run deeper than oceans
A sorrow that darkens every cloud in the sky

Sacred is the silence,
A silence that waits for us to listen
Patiently seeing us unravel
In our words, in our love
While we cry
This life that is endlessly dying…

I felt the instant pull to refute, but that would be wrong, for you had it right from the start - truth can so often defy simplistic logic and objectivity. Sacred is the silence that waits for us to listen. Gorgeous beyond words, the soft sadness is almost forgotten in the moment.

...every day, a new death, and each morn, re.born again to die for another. The re.cycle of life? If tears are sacred, I am washed clean, like a saint.

...and with further reads... beautifully touching. I am one of the many unravelled, with a thread.bare hope that some. One will reweave, in due time.
