Icarus, Don't Fly Too High

Death could fall from the sky,
Where such sinister beauty hides.
From the heights of the night,
Ringing with sounds of unseen larks;
So that we must descend and travail.
Here we will sing
And here we will bleed,
At the gates of death.
Wetting the cheeks of Furies with tears.

We shall not turn back.
No cowardice or fear dreamt
Can tame our song.
And if we need hide,
My Love, our blossom
Can't be picked
By the devil himself.
We will lie on lyra
Singing our tune with the nightinggales.

From eternal stars, kissing moonlight streams
Nyx, come! and give me a poet's last dream;
While her music plays, enthralling,
I'll drink from her parting cup.
"Behold, love's glory doth shine throughout the night"
She speaks with a fierce and savage joy
Of which i've never seen before.
Her kiss so closely pressed
And so sweet, that i must comply.
Her fingers (oh so, ivory and gentle!)
Run my arm to my neck, tracing lines,
And after some time finally invading.
She springs wildly at the wound
Sucking at my neck as a glass of sherry.
Time and distance seem endless
When She broke away and i utter
"Oh sweet, Malaie, I long to know..."

Her eyes dress in love
"Lovers are dead,
Lovers eyes lock,
Locked in endless dreams,
