..silencing deceptive messengers.. (with heartdripsblack)

By NikesRain

the flowers soon died
dripping deep with sadness for me
falling from the skies
my Angels laughed into a misery
forgotten of me
that I begged you to force a wish
into the Milky way tonight
I laughed, I laughed,
I began to laugh of words unspoken
that caused the darkness to turn to light.

so racing past the moon kissed clouds
i hung wishes in the cool of Autumn
upon every brilliant pulsing star
sighing your name between the brightest
painting grace and strength across the heavens
to banishing the shadows into oblivion
as your laughter reverberated through the sky

cloaked in the tourniquet
that almost called me beautiful
I swore into a cuss of a word
that turned red; painted into the skies
as I said goodbye
you waved at me smiling, smiling, smiling

it was in that predawn twilight
with thoughts heavy and purpose clear
i swung a scythe of prayers in your name
the sky darkened and filled
false feathers rained down
demons fell in their angelic disguise
the laughter stopped and the moon grinned
as i spoke your name into the sunrise
