Lonely
Broken inside
Remembering how it feels to be given up on
To give up on

Numb
Hurt
Empty inside
Wishing it was only anger
To be angry with
To be angry at
Doesn’t hurt as much
Sadness
That doesn’t go away
Smiling
So everyone else has a good day
Wishing
That loneliness was visible
So I wouldn’t have to keep hiding it
Knowing
It’ll always be the same but
Deciding
One day, there needs to be a change
