-+-moths sighing in nebulas-+-

By NikesRain

~+~

she's quiescent down in the hollow
beneath the sickle moon where her heart hangs
folded diminutive among the sweet alyssum and flax
attempting to sink into the pulse of the sky
hoping to be a heartbeat closer to phantasmal
she only lets herself be this fragile when it's quiet

~+~

she paints sorrow in small strokes between moonbeams
like eventide dew slipping graceful along the grass
a gaze full of broken yesterday memories
with paltry breaths shaded in fading ideals
descend faltering as crystalline jewels from somber eyes
while the fireflies hover in forlorn winking

~+~

she's lost and spinning among the midnight clouds
the stars her tranquil cloak of rose petal velvet
easing every splinter of all her shattered dreams
to be temperate dissolving into infinite mercy
still the nightingales sing with aching entreats
and she can not resist their graceful supplication

~+~

she's laying hushed in falling wishwhispers
seeking solace between the earth and the heavens

You have a way of making everything feel like the softest night sky. your writing voice is so soothing and majestic. Its hard to explain but you're truely a beautiful creature. And your writing speaks in whispers, stage whispers to share with everyone.

its things like "she only lets herself be this fragile when it's quiet" that make me think you read my mind and slice pieces away for your own portfolio. This was beautiful. Delicate. Sincere. You amaze me every single time. --Jes
