A Monet Sky

By liquid_emotion

Streaks of white light and pink
Against the blue of your eyes
And I don’t remember your voice
Or recall whether or not I love you
I pulled away from your world
And then forgot to tell you why
Left in the emptiness I am filling
Dumping out and filling again
Nothing feels right in my thoughts
And still I cannot bring myself
To let you deep inside a secret
That won’t whisper through
Plastic letters and dim lit screens
So I slip away quietly unnoticed
And pretend you left me here

sneaky and kinda cubist... in the mind... i dunno, sometimes it's hard to describe what words do to me... these are lukewarm words, and they feel like they should be.

Very nice. Of course I love all of your work liquid. You never cease to make me smile. Or sad, whichever way the poem is written, or um....you get what I mean.
