If you love someone, and you do whatever you have to, in order to make it work results in you not getting the true love that your heart seeks.

You find yourself doing things consciously for the love of another, rather than unconsciously in their love for you.

We don't trust the feeling of true love.
We know what to expect when it comes from lust or a one night stand...so we have no expectations beyond that.

True love on the other hand....is entirely different. It relies on the complete surrender of the heart...something that won't happen with lust or one night stands.

The ultimate love - drives the fear of the ultimate hurt.

It is easier to deal with what we know...than what we do not.
