My writing style varies from time to time. I have tried my hand at novels, plays, short stories, and poetry. I enjoy writing sonnets, but I generally don't follow any specific guidelines in my writing. One thing I have noticed is that I will sometimes copy the style of my favorite poets. I suppose most people do this. I don't know if my writing would always be considered dark, but I always try to branch out and write in as many different ways as I can. I think one of the best ways to become a better writer is to experiment as much as possible.
