Description:

The High Order of Caratacos throws down the gauntlet in challenging you to participate in a contest utilizing the Lupus Tele-Verse*. This style of structured poetry was developed by DarkPoetry’s very own living legend and member of the High Order of Caratacos, lupus tenebrae. We have an original form of poetry created by a member of our site! Let’s use it!

Rules:

Use the term “Tiny Hands” somewhere in the piece and use the following phone number(s) to create your poem:

You can use one, two or all three numbers to make up your poem. The theme of the number(s) does not have to be utilized in your piece (e.g. – if you use the third number, it need not be a poem about abuse), but if that helps your creative process feel free to do so. Also, feel free to add in the “1” country code before these numbers if it is useful to you. This style is the perfect mix of structure and free verse, so have fun and get creative!

*Explanation of style:

Utilize a telephone number to create the syllable count for a poem, where “0” equals an ellipsis (meaning “…”). E.g. – 867-5309, becomes:

8 syllables
6 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables
3 syllables
...
9 syllables
